Thin film solar modules are made mainly from thin-film crystalline silicon, CIGS (CuInxGa(1-x)Se2),CdTe,GaAs,amorphous silicon α-Si, etc. They are expensive than crystalline modules but much flexible and thinner, generate more power under weak sunshine than crystalline panels; Best choice for BIPV, flexible applications, small mobile applications.
